Bobbleberry Hollow is lovingly inspired by - and created for - toddlers and preschool to Kindergarten age children. These resources are designed to nurture the growing minds and gentle hearts of children aged 18 months to 6 years old. Whether you are an early childhood educator in a child care centre or preschool classroom, a teacher in an early learning centre, homeschooling, or sharing stories at home, The World of Bobbleberry Hollow offers an imaginative gateway into emotional exploration, movement, yoga, mindfulness, and creative play.
Our Resources
Bobbleberry Hollow books are more than just stories, they are gentle tools for connection, imagination, and emotional learning. Educators can use the books in a variety of ways:
- Story time inspiration: Invite children into the whimsicle world of Bobbleberry Hollow through interactive read-alouds that encourage questions, giggles, and emotional reflection. Documenting the children's ideas and answers provides beautiful storyboards for parents.
- Mindfulness and Yoga (movement) moments: Use the characters and their associated yoga postures to guide short breathing exercises, gentle stretches, or playful transitions through the day.
- Emotional Exploration: Each book offers simple language and relatable feelings that open the door to deeper conversations about friendship, being kind, having courage, being calm, feeling joy, and more.

Alignment with Canadian Curriculum
Bobbleberry Hollow supports many of the core principles found in Canadian early learning standards and the New Brunswick Curriculum Framework for Early Learning and Child Care. The books and companion activities are rooted in developmentally appropriate practice and foster the holistic development of the child, emotionally, socially, physically, and cognitively. You can even find a two page spread of Miss Trish's preschool clasroom on pages 52-53 in the Diversity and Social Responsibility Professional Support Document in the Nb Curriculum resources. You will find it easy to make connections to all five of the learning modules within this resource for NB early childhood education.
Uniqueness and Value for Educators
Miss Trish has been an Early Childhood Educator for over twenty years. Having taught preschool for 18 years and Kindermusik for 11, she has been teaching young children yoga in child care centres for over 10 years and counting.
With a deep passion for young children and their imaginative minds, Miss Trish fuels her writing and work with inspiration from the hundreds of children she has had the pleasure of working with over the years.
