Miss Trish’s Blog

Welcome to Miss Trish’s blog — a cozy corner where I share behind-the-scenes perks at Bobbleberry Hollow, teaching ideas, and reflections on yoga, sound, and storytelling with little ones.

Water-colour painting with Raven

The making of the Magical World of Bobbleberry Hollow happened during the summer and early fall of 2025.
Miss Trish and her daughter, Raven, started a water-colour painting adventure, and the idea of creating fun whimsical characters came to mind.
Miss Trish started by thinking that these characters would make a fun addition to her yoga classes with preschoolers in the coming school year, before we knew it, a book was being created.

After years of teaching young children about the world of yoga and sound, always having requests for materials that could be used with the children day to day to expand on their learning, Miss Trish is overjoyed to have something magical to do just that!

The Spark of Bobbleberry Hollow

Summer of 2025 will always be remembered as the summer of Creativity!

the third book in the series, Bobbleberry Hollow Spaces and Places will be live on Amazon on September 11, just in time for the beginning of yoga classes for the 2025/26 school year.

Offering sound healing in yoga sessions with toddlers and preschoolers

Where does Sound Healing fit into yoga with pre-school aged children?

When helping inspire young children to relax, when it’s not nap time or bed time, can be challenging. Offering  the children music or stories ( guided meditations) and sound gives them something to focus their attention and ‘turn off their busy little minds’.

Children will learn that it’s safe to have quiet moments through their day, that they aren’t always expected to sleep, but they have the time and space to rest. This is a skill that they can carry with them through their life.

Why Mindfulness Matters in Preschool

In the tumble and twirl of preschool life, it can be easy to overlook stillness, and for many children, stillness is associated with sleeping only.
In between the magical moments of preschool life, there is something waiting to be nurtured.
Mindfulness

Mindfulness isn’t about getting children to sit still for long stretches of time, it’s about helping them feel their bodies, notice their breath, and understand their emotions as they move.
This can be as simple as pausing in a circle to notice how string and grounded our feet feel on the ground.

These small moments build more than just balance, they build emotional resilience, body confidence and a deep sense of presence that helps young children feel safe, connected and calm.

🎉 Cheers to Bobbleberry Hollow

Today was a milestone,  the very first Bobbleberry Hollow class in a preschool room!

🫧Sweet little three- and four-year-olds sat with me, listened, breathed, and discovered the magic of the Hollow for the very first time. 🍓We passed the berry bell, entered through the Bobbleberry Portal, and shared a gentle flow of yoga, sound, and story together.

🫐My Bobbleberry Bag of Wonders was packed full — chimes, blankets, and little friends ready to shine. And afterwards, I raised a little celebratory “cheers” of kombucha to mark the day.

A dream that started in watercolor and words is now alive in children’s laughter, stillness, and sparkling eyes.

Here’s to Day One. Here’s to Bobbleberry Hollow. 🌈🍓
